Hi my name is Tara/T (They/she) and I'm an Art therapist offering in person and online sessions in Edinburgh.

I first entered the field of cultic research when I was in my undergraduate (abuse studies) around 2012 and became intrigued in how under represented, spiritual and ritual abuse experiences were. After meeting survivors, I felt a calling to offer spaces for ex group members to heal.

I wanted to work with professionals and organizations (to develop cultic/coercive group understanding across the UK), so that people could have the right type of support and avoid re-traumatization. Since that moment, I've worked to develop my practice and understanding on complex trauma, spiritual and ritual abuse and am working towards being able to offer group based art therapy for ex members.

I currently work with children, young people and adults in private practice and I have experience with First generation adults, SGA's and children who have been born and raised within groups.
